Program Overview

The Water Policy Fly-In Young Professional Scholarship Program supports emerging water professionals interested in learning how federal policy decisions shape the water sector. Scholarship recipients will participate in the Water Policy Fly-In in Washington, DC, where they will engage with peers from across the country, receive advocacy training, and meet with congressional offices to discuss water priorities. The program is designed to build policy awareness, strengthen leadership skills, and help young professionals confidently engage in federal water advocacy.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a young professional working in the water sector

• Be available to attend the full Water Policy Fly-In in Washington, DC and fully participate on both April 13 and 14

• Demonstrate an interest in water policy, advocacy, or public service

• Be willing to actively participate in meetings, training sessions, and Fly-In activities
